DAY 1
Omixon was exhibiting and EFI 2013 conference in Maastricht. As this conference was focusing on immunogenetics, everything was about HLA. So we were preparing very hard to be on our best shape during these few days. The opening ceremony was on Saturday evening.

DAY 2-3-4
During the morning we were still preparing our booth and then the crowd arrived at the first coffee break. We met some old friends and a lot of new people. Basically scientists were working in Registry typing and HLA labs and came from all parts of the world. The audience was so open to the new era of HLA typing which is definitely HLA sequencing from NGS data. A lot of presentations, posters and talks were organized to discuss the challenges of that. And gladly, Omixon can provide a solution that helps these laboratories and scientist achieve better results that could be used in diagnostics soon. Attila, our CEO gave a presentation about what we do and he had huge amount of questions after a successful talk.

After having a great time at EFI 2013 meeting we had to come home on Tuesday which was the last day of the conference. We packed up our booth and said goodbye to our friends. The trip home was exhausting but we were so glad and happy that we attended this conference. See you soon.
