The Omixon team traveled again to a fantastic conference. This time our team went to Paris for the European Society of Human Genetics conference. The conference started during the afternoon of the 8th June at the huge Amphiteatre of Palais de Congrés with around 3000 geneticists from Europe.

The rest of the conference was extremely busy. Next generation sequencing, prenatal diagnostic and immunology were again very hot topics. Several plenary and educational sessions, workshops and presentations were given and the most wonderful thing is that we do have a solution that could help develop these extremely interesting and challenging fields of science. Therefore, lots of people visited us at our booth, mostly geneticists working on different types of disease association studies.

Even if the main topic was not immunogenetics, there was a huge interest about our HLA typing tool which turns out to be the best product in this field according to the audience of the conferences.

Before our flight back we had a chance to make a short walk in the city of Paris, that provided a wonderful atmosphere to an outstanding conference.
